Don't tell A.J. Ponder about this. She wanted to have a high stretch goal (like $7,600) for the bonus epilogue because she knows I'm writing this one and I have a LOT of writing projects this year, so she was trying to be protective of my time. (So sweet of her).

We hit $NZ 6,000!!
Today, our artist, Christian Bentulan, is creating a dust jacket with the design from the new special edition cover of book 1!!! Once we see it and share it with you, he'll be creating dust jackets for the other two books!
So what's next?
We rewarded you with a LOT of digital swag when we hit our early stretch goals because we wanted to have some cool stuff available to print when we reached a higher funding level!
Now, we 're hitting those levels!

Sneak Peek at an Earlier Stretch Goal Reward
Way back at the beginning of our campaign, we hit an early stretch goal and you won Snow & Red's favorite recipes in the back of all versions of Snow and Red, Dagon Shifters' Hoard book 1. Before the girls sneak out to have a fun night (and get entangled with the Draki twins and dragged into the seedy underbelly of Pinevale), they indulge in their favorite snacks!

Neither A.J. Ponder nor Eileen Mueller have ever let a fan name a major character in their stories. Sure, Eileen has had readers name the odd pirate, dragon or peasant, but NEVER a main character! For the first time, you have the opportunity to name a major character!
Who?
The antagonist of Date and Red, Dragon Shifters' Hoard book3. She's an evil, beautiful Fae temptress. A skilled enchantress, handy with a bow, a dagger or a tray of cocktails. She appears in book 2, Zephyr and Snow, but unnamed. In book 3, she returns to wreak havoc on mankind, and to enchant Dante, much to Red's disgust!
When you choose this tier, how should you name her?
You'll give her two names—a real name and shortened version / nickname.
You could give us your name and become that seductive Fae! (Yes, we're creative enough to adapt male names, too). Or you might name her after your best friend, your sister, your neighbor, or your mother-in-law (tee hee!). Perhaps, you'd like to let your imagination run wild and come up with a brand new fantasy name! We'll work with you to find a name that suits the world of the series that we're all happy with.

Cyclone Ravishes New Zealand
As you may have heard, New Zealand has been hit by a terrible cyclone and many New Zealanders have lost their homes and livelihoods. The area where we live is okay. We've had many readers asking if we're all right. Thank you for your kindness and concern.
