Just Look at These!
We're excited! A.J. Ponder and I unboxed the special edition paperbacks and hardbacks of the Dragon Shifters' Hoard yesterday. We're thrilled that all the special features look great.
The dust covers, pretty front papers, special acknowledgements, extra backmatter in each book, Kickstarter thank you pages, character book plates, flying draki twins on chapter headings, dark front plates, signed pages, extra images and the two different versions of the hardback cover are all exactly as we wanted them.
We also have special thank you plates in the front of Dante and Red, book 3, acknowledging Danielle Bird and Melinda Cater, our super backers who had creative input into Dante and Red's story.
The hardback special editions of Dragon Shifters' Hoard feature 2 types of series cover under the symbol dustjacket - either symbol or character!
The shipment we received is for our New Zealand backers. We’ve shipped their books and they should receive them in a day or two.
The paperback and hardback orders for the rest of the world are currently being shipped directly from our international distributor.
UK
My inbox was flooded this morning with notifications from UPS saying that the UK orders are being shipped today.
USA/ Canada
We anticipate that the USA and Canadian paperbacks will be out the door soon. Hardbacks in the USA may take a little longer due to printing lead times, however they should be shipped in a few weeks. We’ll update you here on Kickstarter when we’re notified that they’ve shipped.
Physical Swag
All the physical swag has been delivered to our PA in Texas, USA.
Physical swag: bookmarks, character cards, and stickers. Postcards will also be sent. We'll have a photo of all of them in our next update.
Our PA’s family have been unwell, so we're waiting another week until all of them are fit and healthy before our PA opens the shrink-wrapped packages and sends your stickers, bookmarks postcards and character cards.
EbookDelivery
All of the e-books and bonus e-books were distributed via an email from Eileen back in late March, however we’ve checked who has downloaded books and seen that over forty people have not yet downloaded their e-books or bonus books.

Please note that even though all the books are visible on this page, you will only be able to download the books that you have paid for, or the bonus books you’ve earned, because the site checks which books you’re entitled to, according to email you provided us with. News!!!Dante and Red, Dragon Shifters’ Hoard, book 3!!
Thank you to everyone who provided creative input for this grand conclusion to our dragon shifter fantasy trilogy! It’s been a blast to work with you, and your contributions have fueled exciting events in the story.
In fact, we had so much fun implementing the cool creative elements our backers provided, that the story grew! So, book 3 is a bumper volume, full of excitement and adrenaline, tragedy and heartbreak, an awesome epic battle—with romance, and hope.
Dante and Red's adventure clocked in at a massive 120,000 words, instead of the 75,000 words we originally expected! Wow, that's nearly double the value! Double the fun, romance, danger and peril!
We know you’re going to love the twists and turns in the stories of Dante, Red, Snow, Zephyr, Connor the wolf alpha, and Krispin. We may have laughed out loud or shed the odd tear as we edited the book, but of course, we'd never admit to that!!! The proof reader is enjoying our story, too, and will be finished soon. She's new to our work, and said she's loving the emotional roller coaster.
We love it when a trilogy comes to successful conclusion with a resounding ending that’s emotionally satisfying and ticks all the boxes. You’re in for a treat!

We thank our supporters who've backed creative levels . One of our backers have given our mage a fantastic name. She's used a very clever acronym, we're enchanted with it.
One of our backers has named the jeweler and given him an endearing personality. We hope you enjoy visiting his quaint store and the wonderful rings he crafts for a certain big event. #nospoilers
Our catering backer couldn't have picked a more perfect name for the catering company, we think it's brilliant.
We also had an intriguing suggestion for a Greek mythological monster which has taken the battle scene in book 3 to a whole new level. Dante, Red, Snow and Zephyr are in for a whole heap of trouble now!

On the last day of our campaign, we hit our stretch goal goal of $NZ 7,000 which unlocked a set of 5 printed character cards for our print backers! YAY! Then you astounded us and went even further! You surpassed our $NZ 7,300 goal and unlocked a bonus epilogue! With just minutes to spare, we raced over the finish line at $NZ 7,341!!! We're thrilled! In fact, we're so thrilled, we're providing all of our print backers with a vinyl sticker designed by A.J. Ponder in their swag pack!!! Here's a sneak peek!
The finished sticker will not have the dark line on the left side, but will be circular.
Remember, if you backed digitally, and would like a printed swag pack, there's chance for you to add one via Kickstarter. If you backed digitally, you'll receive all the digital art as part of your reward.

Backer Kit Survey
14 days after the campaign ends, Kickstarter will finalize the campaign at our end. We'll then send you a survey through Backer Kit, our fulfillment center. That will be in early March. PLEASE answer this survey as soon as it comes, as this gives us information we need to send you your books. Your answer affects how we order the books. We will notify you via Kickstarter the day before the surveys go out. You do not need to a Backer Kit account to do this, although you can create one if you want.
Book 3
We're working with our Hero Tier backers to finalize names and a few details in book 3. Book 3 will then go to our editor and proofreader and then be uploaded for print book production and ebook distribution. At that point, we'll distribute the print books and swag.
